38" Traditional Panel
Here's how it works. The steel is run through a bath of molten zinc. The zinc chemically bonds to the steel, so there's a layer of zinc between the steel and the air. Before the steel can rust, the zinc "sacrifices" itself, slowly oxidizing while protecting the steel. The result? A panel that can stand up to the elements over the long haul.
But that's only the first part of Traditional Panel's four-step protection against rust. Our zinc phosphate coating prepares the galvanized surface for adhesion of the primer and provides additional protection against rust.
Next, we apply a unique two-part coating, a primer point and then a siliconized polyester finish coating to provide a rich, durable surface color and additional protection. More than just a layer of point, this cooling is actually on oven-cured system of four separate coatings, each of which contributes to the overall strength and durability of the panel.
- ENERGY STAR qualified roof products reflect more of the sun's rays. This can lower roof surface temperatures, decreasing the amount of heat transferred into a building.
- ENERGY STAR qualified roof products can help reduce the amount of air conditioning needed in buildings, and can reduce peak cooling demand by 10-15 percent.
Now, warranties aren't unique. But the way we bock ours is. Every sheet of Traditional Panel is "signed" with on I.D. number on the bock visible with a block light. That's proof that we take quality seriously and intend to honor the warranty. That's confidence.
How long is a building good for? As long as it keeps standing and does the job you built it to do. So the more a building can stand up to, the better the building, and the more value you get for your money.
A Traditional Panel building is as good as it gets in steel panel buildings. It's thicker. It's stronger. It resists rust better. It comes with a 40-year warranty on the point and a 10-year warranty against acid rain. And it provides you with more value for your dollar.
